A smaller Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. Another Iowa paddle wheel boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river based casino in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday twenty-one tournaments.

Iowa casinos provide a great amount of tax income to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a lot of commonwealth wide projects. Visitors have increased at a rapid rate along with the request for services and a gain in employment. Iowa gambling halls have been instrumental to the expansion of the economy, and the enthusiasm for wagering in Iowa is across the board.
